Maria Waller

Once I saw the photo of the Swell and checked her out from the article written in the summer edition of BC magazine in 2015, I knew from that moment on that was how I was going to see Alaska.
Our activities fulfilled everything I anticipated doing and then some. We sat in hot springs, a few did some fishing and we were treated to a fresh halibut dinner, grizzly bear watching, hiking in a rainforest to an observatory to see salmon spawning, we were treated to amazing performances by humpback whales, killer whales and porpoises, got to get close to an icefield to hear and see calving taking place, even had ice chips chopped from “bergie bits” by Miles, kayaking, hikes to waterfalls, hikes on beaches…never a dull moment. We had wonderful conversations and new friendships were made.
