Waitlisting Works: Although trips fill early, every year some people have to postpone their trips due to medical or other considerations. If you are on a trip’s waitlist, we’ll contact you when a place becomes available.

Included In Our Price

  • All accommodation.

  • Superb meals and snacks by our chef, prepared fresh daily.

  • Wine with dinner, and a local craft beer. (Alcohol is not a big part of our trips as we go ashore in remote areas that is home to wildlife, where the water is cold.)

  • All shore excursions.

  • Use of gear on board including kayaks, fishing gear, and rubber boots.

  • Interpretation from A-List naturalists, including top scientists and educators. Conversations with other leaders on the coast, on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Personalized care and attention by Maple Leaf's stellar crew and staff.

  • Our open wheelhouse / open bridge policy, with the chance to help steer Maple Leaf and Swell, and help sail Maple Leaf with instruction.

  • Assistance with travel arrangements. On Cascadia, often the price also includes local flights between Vancouver airport and the trip start and end.

  • Prices are all-inclusive, and subject to a $100 sustainability fee per person (2019) or $200 (2020). The trips in Canada are subject to 5% federal tax. See "Included in Our Price" for the exceptional value included. Fares are per person, based on double occupancy, and in Canadian dollars. For solo travellers, there is no single supplement on the SV Maple Leaf trips (shared accommodation); there is no single supplement if you opt to share a cabin on Cascadia; and there is a 50% single supplement on the MV Swell and Cascadia for an exclusive solo cabin.
