1: Welcome aboard, cruising watching for wildlife. Evening kayak or zodiac cruise. Welcome dinner.
- day:

2: Cruising the spectacular scenery of the coast’s longest fjord – granite cliffs, waterfalls and mountain peaks. Shore trip in estuary meadow frequented by bears in spring and fall, and wildflowers in spring and summer. Possible special cultural site visit.

3: Further exploration of the fjord and its various inlets that slice through the heart of the Coast Mountains. Evening natural hot spring visit.

4: Morning rainforest interpretive walk with naturalist. Afternoon visit whale researchers at remote station. Viewing marine mammals in one of the coast’s best habitat for humpback whales, fin whales and killer whales, as well as other species.

5: Explore remote, outer coastal islands, islets and beaches. Walk / hike to view over Pacific. Watch for seabirds and wolves or wolf sign in this habitat for marine wolves. Optional kayaking. Evening beach fire and stargazing.

6: Further island hopping and intertidal life exploration, evening anchorage in protected inlet.

7: Cruising to port watching for wildlife.

Note that as with all expedition cruises, the itinerary may change based on weather, wildlife activity, and interests of the guests. This itinerary is to give you a general idea of the trip. For trips taking place in 2022, we’ll be running shorter getaways to the region in our Cascadia vessel.
