We've just returned from an amazing trip on the Maple Leaf through Gwaii Haanas park and other parts of Haida Gwaii. The crew on board was a blast in addition to being professional and highly skilled - their attention to detail and ability to plan days that met the interests of everyone on board was quite astonishing. The food on board was outstanding. Long story short, everything about the experience was remarkable - the whale watching, the Haida village sites, the hiking, the boat. It is a bit difficult to visit the sites on South Moresby, either a Zodiac ride in the open, bouncing over the waves for a few days or a 92 foot sailing boat with a gourmet chef...my wife said "no contest". And it was one of the best trips we ever had. First class operation, really enthusiastic crew, excellent food and wine and a small group of like minded people made our trip a real pleasure. If you have ever wanted to see the totems on Haida Gwaii and visit the old village sites this is the way to do it. -Marty, Vancouver, BC
