My gratitude to all of Maple Leaf’s wonderful crew! I will treasure the memories from the dramatic power of the seas, to foot thick moss under ancient forests. Most of all I will remember all of you for your good humour, competence, your great efforts to keep us all happy, well entertained, and safe. And the FOOD! Delicious and creative…it always warmed me from the chill air. I also appreciate how beautifully and calmly you all handled the broken bowsprit, a reminder that fantasies do take place in a very real and challenging environment. We leave Maple Leaf with nothing but happy memories and love and respect for Haida Gwaii and all its people.
