In April, when much of North America is just emerging into spring, British Columbia’s southwest coast is a nature-lover’s dream. We’re offering travellers an incentive to discover it.

For Salish Sea expedition cruises, that feature wildflower meadows, marine mammals and island hopping the region’s mediterranean-style islands, we’re offering guests a free luxury hotel night with breakfast before boarding, or a free gourmet, waterfront lunch, depending on the trip. Bookings must be made by Mar 15 or Feb 28, respectively, to qualify.

“Spring often begins in February and definitely by March here,” says Maureen Gordon, one of our owners and experienced guides. “It’s my favourite time of year – the leaves shine because they’re new, the sea shines, the wildflowers unfurl and there’s nobody else out on the water. We want our guests to experience that.”

Qualifying trips include our Salish Sea Expedition with Canadian Geographic Apr 14-18, Spring Gulf Islands National Park Reserve trip Apr 21-25, and our Desolation Sound and Desolation Sound-Salish Sea Supervoyages, Apr 19-25, Apr 26-May 4 and Apr 30-May 4.

Summer Safaris: Flight Promotions and Short Stay Options

That’s not all, we’re also offering free local flights, valued at up to $800, for select summer trips booked by Febuary 28 as well. These are our Whales and Wild Isles itinerary and Great Bear Rainforest and Kitlope itineraries, in July and August.

Included in this promotion is a new Whales and Wild Isles (5-day) itinerary, aboard the luxury catamaran Cascadia, designed for those wanting to experience the B.C. coast’s remote wilderness, while still leaving time to visit tourism mainstays like Vancouver and Tofino.

Maple Leaf Adventures trips are boutique expedition cruises aboard coastal yachts. They explore the nature, wildlife and culture of the British Columbia and Alaska coast, far from cities, with naturalists and wilderness guides. Plenty of shore trips, with just a small group of guests, get guests up close, while chefs and crew provide warm hospitality and camaraderie.

Salish Sea and Desolation Sound trips start at all-inclusive Cdn $3000 plus taxes. Summer trips start at $5850 plus taxes. For more information go to our Special Offers or call our friendly team at +1-250-386-7245.
